1964 Ford Fairlane Sports Coupe. 9,600 miles. $75,995.
1964 Ford Fairlane Sports Coupe.
It took a total of 6 years to completely restore this Fairlane Sports coupe, finally finished in 2002 with just 9,600 miles! Absolutely no expense was spared, it shows! Car has won 3 National shows, 2002 Flagstaff AZ, 2003 St. Louis MO and Cromwell CT in 2004. Featured in Mustang & Ford Magazine in May of 2003. Over $120,000 was spent! Was completely taken apart and all parts were media blasted, the Mustang II front suspension was installed and the car was fitted for the 427 FE engine. The car was disassembled again and Ken Krienring of Monster Garage handled the auotbody and paint with a grand total of $17k. At the same time Oregon Plating took care of all the stainless, chroming and aluminum straightening, polishing and re-plating. A total of $7k was spent in this alone! Complete interior including leather seats, was done by Mark Fischer of Superior Interior. $4k later it is perfect and like new! An additional $7k in all new rubber seals, front suspension, lenses and they also re-plated the dash bezels and seat hinge covers, all done correctly, zoom in the photos for all the detail! The original cast iron 427 with top loader 4 speed was later upgraded by Aldridge Motorsports with an all aluminum Carroll Shelby 427, Tremek 5 Speed, Wilwood disc brakes, 411 Posi rear gears with a grand total of $65k! An additional $20k was spent for all the other little parts, 18 circuit Painless Wire harness, glass, headers, driveline, radiator, mouldings, air conditioning that blow cold, etc..

1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C 4000 Series. 3,638 miles. $125,995.
1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C 4000 Series. #4072. A 4000 Series Continuation Corba, Serial # 4072. Registered in the Shelby Registry, this is the first time offered for sale! Original owner with 3,600 miles on the chassis. The aluminum engine and transmission have less than 500 miles on them, all of which is track mileage. All paperwork is available along witth bill of sale signed by Carroll Shelby and original build orders. This is a one of a kind Cobra! Only known Shelby to have factory mounted dual roll bars.
This Engine is a Shelby aluminum 427 with extensive modifications, roller cam, titanium rocker arms, special heads and piston, crankshaft, ignition system. Estimated horsepower is 650. Balanced, heads are ported and polished, aluminum manifold. It's currently configured on VP 5, 105-108 octane.
The Transmission is a RIchmond 5 Speed road-racing transmission with super strong gears. Heavy duty racing clutch and flywheel are in a scatter shield.
Car also has a Nascar-type electric fuel pump you can shut off at the dash & Nascar-type air system to provide cool air into the footbox area. Firewall is coated in heat resistant material to reduce temperatures in the footbox. Camber and caster are set up for track driving, can easily be adjusted to street driving. Has full harness seatbelts.
This car has more than $30k worth of modifications just in the engine and transmission. Extremely fast!
